In a super-cool spot above Vineyard Vines and overlooking bustling Broughton Street, Morgan Rae Boutique is a curated collection of wearable and sophisticated fashion and accessories. Founder and owner Morgan Bryant is a life-long local with an eye for wearable art and a talent for customer service and she knew that in creating her unique shop, she not only wanted to compile some of the most beautiful clothing and accessory items available, but she wanted to ensure that each special piece is approachable and comes at an attainable price point. Learning her customers’ wants, needs and favorites is a priority for Morgan and her team, and their dedication is evidenced by the boutique’s accolades and awards.
Morgan Rae found success during the lean months of COVID-19 isolation with live sales online through their website and Facebook page. Even though in-person shopping is commonplace again, customers still love the live sale option, so Morgan has continued running them every Sunday at 8 p.m., and the boutique’s new smartphone app makes shopping any time or place even more convenient. She made it through the pandemic, and now celebrates two years in business!
Customer service is key at Morgan Rae, and each team member works to build relationships with customers to help them zero in on pieces that not only appeal to them, but make them feel good about themselves, too. Inventory is hand-selected with an eye for inclusion so that customers of any age, taste, size and shape can find something that reflects their personality. My 14-year-old daughter and I both count Morgan Rae among our favorite boutiques in town–it’s so nice to have a place where we can shop, both find tons that we like, and have fun spending an afternoon together!
