Holiday Gift Guide 2023

December is here, but there is still plenty of shopping time left in the holiday season! Check out some of my best ideas for gifts your loved ones are sure to adore.

Provisions Savannah
What do you buy for the person who has everything? Provisions Savannah stocks an eclectic array of wines, unique pantry goods and fine gifts for the home, all with the ethos of cultivating a creative community of makers. Use their expertise to put together the perfect custom gift basket for someone you love! 101 W Liberty Street, provisions-sav.com

13 Secrets Jewelry Gallery

One of Savannah’s charms are its unique boutiques, small locally owned spaces tucked into historic streets and featuring one-of-a-kind pieces that celebrate handcraft and make perfect gifts. And one of my favorites is 13 Secrets Jewelry Gallery. I would absolutely wear anything in here! Located in the Historic District and tucked away on beautiful Oglethorpe Avenue, 13 Secrets offers an array of quality jewelry both designed in-house and hand-selected by designer and owner Chad Crawford, who created the space based on his vision for multiple jewelry designers to have their work featured in a single spot. 426 E Oglethorpe Avenue and 300 W River Street Bldg C, 13secret.com

E. Shaver, Bookseller

One of my favorite places in town is E Shaver Bookseller, a cozy and comforting shop where it feels like you traverse a series of book-lined tunnels to emerge into yet another comforting space. I could spend all day there! Wander and explore for the perfect gift, or simply ask for a good suggestion and you’re sure to leave with an ideal gift for someone you love. 326 Bull Street, eshaverbooks.com

Capital Bee Co.
Though known for its truly rare single varietal mono-floral honeys, Capital Bee Co. is so much more than honey. Its beautiful gift shop showcases some of the loveliest candles and gifts to be found, plus upscale Savannah souvenirs, barware, cocktail infusions, teas and treats and more. A jar of honey, a small snack and a lovely tea towel would make the perfect holiday treat for someone special! 421 E Broughton Street, CapitalBeeCo.com

Ye Ole Tobacco Shop
Listen. We all know that dads and brothers and husbands can be hard to shop for. Let Phil and his friends at Ye Ole Tobacco Shop help you pick just the right gift this holiday season! With two locations this is Savannah’s oldest operating traditional tobacco shop, and stocks all sorts of pipe and cigar accessories including humidors, cigar cases, cigar and pipe lighters, and much, much more. 130 E Bay Street and 280 Eisenhower Drive, yeoletobaccoshop.com

Satchel.

More than just a place to shop custom leather goods, Satchel is a hybrid retail space and design studio. The production team works in the back of an open shopping space where you can see what goes into all the beautiful, handmade pieces on display on the retail side. You can even get custom design services and have the team create something just for you! Some of my favorite gift ideas are a fashionable wallet or lovely gold embossed leather bracelets–they’re like best friend bracelets for grown-ups! 4 E Liberty Street, shopsatchel.com

Museum Gift Shops

When you’re searching for just-the-right-thing, don’t forget to check museum gift shops! Some of the town’s loveliest and unique notions, books and even antiques can be found at the Telfair Museums, the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace, and the Mercer House

Experiences

Did you know that studies show that people tend to appreciate experiential gifts more than physical ones? Treat someone you love to an exciting Savannah Riverboat cruise, a night out at the historic Savannah Theatre for a signature holiday show, or the much-loved and festive December Nights and Holiday Lights at Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens. You won’t clutter up their space and instead share a special memory.

Restaurant Gift Cards

Share your favorite places for dining and drinks with someone special with gift cards. The best part is that both you and your friend support small local businesses when you purchase a gift card to use later!

Be sure to tell them your TRAVELHOST sent you!
