Family Adventure Day 2025 – Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia

April 13 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Friends, neighbors, and future Girl Scouts from kindergarten through twelfth grade are invited to Camp Low to explore all you can accomplish as a Girl Scout – which started right here in Savannah in 1912! Hike one of the trails at camp or bicycle throughout the island (but please bring your own helmet!)

Learn about Girl Scouts, take part in a hands-on service project to remove invasive Chinese tallow trees, and find out how our community can work together to make our environment greener.

We’ll have archery (for 2nd graders and above), camp crafts, songs, s’mores, and more! Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy, or purchase your lunch from one of the food trucks on site. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes (no flip-flops, sandals or crocs).

Love camp and want to help keep it great?  Learn about volunteer opportunities with our incredible volunteer Adopt-A-Camp Team.

Let’s stay safe! During this event, a parent, guardian, or troop leader must accompany their Girl Scout(s) and younger family members.

Special patches will be given. For more information, please contact Betsy Connell at bconnell@gshg.org or 470-208-3664.
