2023 Camellia Festival – Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens

The Coastal Georgia Camellia Society invites you to the 2023 Camellia Festival!
SATURDAY, January 28th:
Bloom Exhibition – 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Bethel Bur-Ton Conference Center
-Bloom entry from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with free entry to the Gardens

Speaker/Luncheon: 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Andrews Visitor and Education Center
-Dr. Brenda Litchfield, co-author of the Camelia Garden Field Guide, is a professor and a word traveler. She will talk about her fascinating trip to China to visit world-renowned camellia breeder Gao Jiyin and his work with the year-round blooming species, Camellia azalea.
-The seated luncheon, catered by Miss Sophie’s Marketplace, is $75 and includes entry to the gardens. Tickets are available at https://coastalgacs.wildapricot.org/events

Camellias provided by Gene’s Camellia World of Hobbes Hill Farm will be available for purchase. 20% of the proceeds go to the Coastal Georgia Camellia Society.

Event admission: $5 entry per day or FREE with bloom exhibition submission. Entry is also included in $75 luncheon fee for Saturday’s guest speaker luncheon.
